Regent of Azvaldt

Shadowverse Long ago, Zerael cycled through endless rebirths in despair as the world around him
was defiled by sin. In pursuit of a place of true beauty and righteousness,
he created the great prison Azvaldt to contain the vilest of criminals.
Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond When Zerael was struck down by a convict and left unable to reinitiate his cycle of rebirth,
the prison collapsed and his enforcers were freed from the curse that bound them.
But that was far from the end of the story...

    Zerael, Sundered Rebirth (unevolved)

Cutthroat... you ignorant sinner. Why do you refuse to repent for your crimes? Perhaps you prefer a world where sin runs rampant over a righteous utopia. Is that why you would attempt to slay me? Your hubris knows no bounds, but it is all meaningless. Your defiled hands cannot kill me.

    Zerael, Sundered Rebirth (evolved)

Zerael attempted to initiate rebirth, but his voice faded into the void. The brief opening that emerged was severed by Soulforge's gleam. And so, by the hand of a convict, Zerael was destroyed.
